Direct-to-Substrate Printing

Studio Blue provides direct-to-substrate printing for businesses throughout Pleasanton, the East Bay and the greater Bay Area. Our flatbed printing capabilities allow us to print full-color graphics directly onto rigid boards, panels and specialty materials.

This process is ideal for signs, retail displays, exhibit graphics, interior décor and custom fabricated components, while reducing the need to print and mount separate adhesive graphics for many applications.

Printing Directly on Rigid Materials

Direct-to-substrate printing applies full-color graphics directly to rigid boards and panels. For many projects, this eliminates the separate steps of printing adhesive vinyl and mounting it to another material.

The process is well suited for custom signs, display panels, exhibit graphics, retail displays, interior décor and components that will later be routed or fabricated into custom shapes.

Efficient In-House Production

Printing and finishing projects in-house gives Studio Blue greater control over color, quality, turnaround and material handling. Printed panels can also move directly into mounting, laminating, CNC routing and other finishing processes.

Our team can review the artwork, finished size, display environment and fabrication requirements to recommend an appropriate material and production method.
