White Ink & Specialty Printing

Studio Blue provides white ink and specialty printing for businesses throughout Pleasanton, the East Bay and the greater Bay Area. White ink makes it possible to produce vivid graphics on clear, colored and dark materials where standard CMYK printing alone may not provide enough opacity or contrast.

It can be used as a base layer beneath color, printed by itself as a design element or applied selectively to create transparent and opaque effects within the same graphic.

White Ink on Clear & Dark Materials

White ink creates an opaque foundation that helps color graphics remain bright and readable on clear, colored and dark substrates. It can also be used selectively to preserve transparent areas and create layered visual effects.

This process is especially useful for acrylic signs, second-surface graphics, retail displays, decorative panels, window applications and specialty promotional pieces.

Specialty Effects & Layered Printing

White ink can be printed as a solid underbase, used selectively behind color graphics or applied by itself as part of the design. This makes it possible to combine transparent, translucent and opaque areas within the same printed piece.

Layered printing can create depth, contrast and visual interest for decorative panels, retail graphics, branded displays and custom applications that cannot be achieved with standard color printing alone.
